South Morningside Primary want to raise awareness about the importance of looking after your mental health and wellbeing. We are going to use this week to share some ideas that children, adults and whole families can do to look after their wellbeing.
It is Mental Health Awareness Week this week. To celebrate this we will be posting new ideas and information daily on our “Keeping Mentally Healthy!” page.
Mrs Campbell has written a fantastic Sway page all about it, read it here!
Of course, practising a mentally-healthy life style is a topic we discuss and promote with all our pupils year round, but it seems particularly timely for all of us to actively devote time for thinking about how we can help each and everyone in our family, class, school and wider community stay healthy during the ‘lock down’ time.
The UK’s ‘Mental Health Foundation’ website has further information if you are interested in learning more about Mental Health Awareness week.
