For Mental Health Week 2020 we will be exploring a different method of keeping ourselves feeling positive daily!
Thursday:
Staying active is important to help keep maintain a healthy mind. Lots of you have managed to keep up the sports and activities you enjoy from your homes. It is important to get outside to your local area for your daily exercise to help clear your minds and give you a break from being inside. Mrs Downie has been creating weekly Health and Wellbeing Grids for each year to try with some videos to help you. Below are some more ideas for activities you can try at home:

Being mindful involves being fully present in the current moment. Being aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. Given everything that is going on, taking time to be mindful and concentrate on the moment, rather than worry about unfolding events around us can help to feel calmer and more in control. Below are some activities to help you to be more mindful.
